The Rolled Steel National Industry - INAL S/A - is active over the flat steel products distributing and processing areas, a varied range of products made available do steel users market, such as coils, rolls, sheets, blanks, profiles, pipes, covering tiles fabricated from hot rolled strips and bands, as well as cold rolled flat either hot dip galvanized or black sheets, and tin mill products such as tinplate, chromated thin or black plates. INAL's History
INAL has started operations by 1957, opening its proper space into the scene for steel products distributing and processing. At first INAL was set by São Paulo State Capital proper, and by 1978 then the facilities have been moved to an 136 thousand square meters site area, in Guarulhos-SP, to allow for activities increase and resources expansion. Later, the Guarulhos' unit has been moved into Mogi das Cruzes city São Paulo State.
Early in 1998, CSN has acquired both INAL and Intermesa, a major steel dealer with its main place of business in Rio de Janeiro, combining operations of both firms then to give rise to the new, stronger and better structured INAL.
Since the 2000 year, INAL ranks among the 500 largest private undertakings in Brazil, in a prominent position as the largest flat steel works allied dealer in the country.
Along its 45 operating years, INAL has proceeded to capital investment to modernize its facilities and to qualify its professional people, in order to assure the satisfaction to increasingly market requirements level.
